I'm Lea Ladera, pronounced Lay-ah, like in Star Wars (no surprise, it’s my favorite movie). I grew up in Dallas, Texas, the land of big hair and even bigger dreams. That mindset has definitely influenced how I think and create.
I’m a Senior Level Creative Director with over 20 years of experience helping build, reinvent, and grow brands, many of them Fortune 500 from a variety of categories. I approach campaign strategy with a consumer mindset and an entrepreneurial perspective, which has consistently driven results and helped win new business. My specialties? Reviving established brands and launching new ones. Let’s be real, people don’t love ads unless they entertain, so I try to do just that.
I continue to both execute work and lead teams in campaign development across a wide range of channels, including broadcast, digital, social, out-of-home, influencer, and experiential. I’m thankful to have collaborated with top agencies, created award-winning campaigns, and learned from incredible mentors. Their influence continues to inspire me and give back to the next generation of creatives.
When I’m ideating, I like to say my brain is on roller skates. I love the creative agility that comes with the work. At my core, I’m a problem solver currently offering a wide range of services: from art direction to leading full campaign development for existing or new business.
When I’m not working, I spend time with family, help non-profits, and soak in art, music and the sun. My latest passion is A.I. content and filmmaking.
